The US State Department closely monitors global safety conditions and issues travel alerts for its citizens and other travelers on a regular basis.
On August 19, it released a list of “reassessments” for six Caribbean islands, most of which belonged to the Netherlands.
Despite the positive results, the agency still advises citizens to remain cautious and observe common-sense precautions to protect themselves when outside the country.
