Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers World Airport (OKC) is set to achieve a historic milestone this fall, as American Airlines introduces the airport’s first-ever nonstop international route. Beginning November 8, 2025, travelers will be able to fly directly to Cancun, Mexico (CUN) on a new Saturday-only service.
Previously, international travel for Oklahomans required connecting flights through larger hubs. This new route eliminates that inconvenience, providing a more efficient option for vacationers, families, and business travelers alike. The flight will operate weekly through April 4, 2026, using a Boeing 737 aircraft.
