The president of the Local Council for Tourism Promotion, Mario Cruz Rodríguez, announced that the main goal is to exceed the figure of 2 million visitors to Tulum in 2024 through the implementation of various promotional campaigns and the continuous strengthening of the international airport.
Despite the difficulties experienced in 2023, the state of Quintana Roo has successfully finished with more than 20 million tourists. Tulum contributed around 1.8 million domestic and foreign visitors, according to official figures.
It is expected that 2024 will be a year of prosperity, for which a joint effort of society, government, and businessmen is needed.
