Despite the severe impact caused by Hurricane Beryl last month, the stunning Caribbean island of Jamaica is breaking all historical records for tourist arrivals, as anticipated by the government at the beginning of 2024.
The worst was feared when the Category-4 storm—one of the most powerful to ever hit the island—devastated an expansive territory on the southern side of the country, compromising critical infrastructure and blocking a significant number of roads.
