New York has decided to reduce AirTrain tickets from JFK airport to the city center to only $4.25 one-way from July 1 to Labor Day (Sept. 2), said officials.
The decision seeks to help travelers avoid construction work at the famous international hub as it is undergoing a massive $19 billion renovation.
According to T&L, JKF will boast “two new international terminals and two revamped terminals, a new ground transportation center, and new roadways. Once complete, JFK will welcome travelers to a brand-new Terminal 1, a new Terminal 6 (which will connect to Terminal 5), an expanded Terminal 4, and a revamped Terminal 8.”
