University of Southern California offensive coordinator and running backs coach Kennedy Polamalu is leaving, according to a report by USCFootball.com[1]. Another report by CBS Sports says he has been fired[2].
The move is one of several among the Trojans coaching ranks in recent months, with defensive backs coach Marvin Sanders being fired, linebackers coach Scottie Hazelton leaving to be defensive coordinator at Nevada[3] and assistant head coach Monte Kiffin resigning[4].
Friday night, a Twitter account previously cited as that of running back recruit Ty Isaac[5] posted merely this: “Disappointed[6]“.
Polamalu, a former USC fullback, is the uncle of Pittsburgh Steelers star Troy Polamalu.
