With a win this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs would become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. They’re already the only team to even reach the Super Bowl in their “threepeat” attempt, but that ain’t the goal for this juggernaut.
While the Chiefs are knocking on the door of NFL team immortality, none of the players can lay claim to being the first to win three consecutive Lombardi Trophies. There’s even a former Chief on the Eagles who can also pick up a third straight title.
