Dr. Rajinikanth and his wife Dr. Padma would regularly play chess together for fun at their family home in India. Over the next few weeks, Gukesh, still fresh into adulthood, could become the youngest-ever chess world champion. By qualifying for this month’s 2024 World Chess Championship in Singapore, the 18-year-old is already the youngest challenger to compete for the world title.
