“Gangnam Style,” a 2012 song by Korean rapper Psy, refers to a lifestyle associated with South Korean trendiness and high-class individuals. The song also has a famous dance that accompanies it, a dance that everyone of a certain age around the globe knows all too well.
As such, 26-year-old Sungjae Im, who hails from South Korea, got a little excited during Wednesday’s practice round. “Gangnam Style” blasted from the speakers on the first tee at Royal Montreal, the host of this week’s Presidents Cup. So, Im decided to perform this dance in front of the camera, an ode to one of his country’s most famous K-pop songs.
