Snedeker in position again; can he get the win?

Brandt Snedeker is the hottest player in golf.

Everyone pretty much agrees on that.

There’s just one thing: He has yet to win a tournament in 2013.

PEBBLE BEACH: Snedeker, Hahn share lead[1]

He enters Sunday’s final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am at 12 under par, tied for the lead with rookie James Hahn (the dancing golfer of Gangnam Style fame[2]).

LEADERBOARD: Pebble Beach National Pro-Am[3]

Snedeker has been runner-up the past two weeks — second to Tiger Woods at Torrey Pines and Phil Mickelson at TPC Scottsdale — but he started those final rounds well behind two of golf’s biggest stars. Not this time.

“You never know what (Sunday) holds, but I feel like I’m in great position, and I’m going to be surely more prepared, no matter who is around me in the last group,” Snedeker said. “I’m probably going to have the most experience of anybody in those last couple groups of winning a golf tournament.”

Snedeker, by the way, has posted nine consecutive rounds in the 60s.

The leaders tee off at 12:35 p.m. ET. Golf Channel has early coverage (1-2:30 p.m. ET), and CBS brings it home (3-6:30 p.m. ET).

And, you can follow the progress all day with Golfweek’s Tour Tracker[4].
