An argument between Tyler Herro and Amen Thompson escalated into a full-blown brawl between the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets on Sunday night. Five players and one coach were ejected in the aftermath of the scuffle, and now the NBA has announced their suspensions for those involved.
Thompson, Jalen Green, head coach Ime Udoka, and assistant coach Ben Thompson were all ejected for the Rockets. Herro and Terry Rozier were ejected for the Miami Heat. Fred VanVleet was ejected earlier in the game. Benches on both sides cleared after Thompson threw Herro to the floor before an inbounds pass. Herro taunted Thompson during the incident and after the game.
