Robert MacIntyre’s interesting choice to skip Memorial Tournament, see family

Robert MacIntyre won the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday to claim his first PGA Tour victory. That win got him into this week’s Memorial Tournament, the Travelers Championship, and, of course, the U.S. Open.

However, the 27-year-old will not be in Dublin, Ohio. Instead, he will head home to Scotland and spend time with his family. This decision seems to have come at the last minute, especially since the Scottish golfer did not know whether he would play.
