The PGA Tour announced on Tuesday the name of the new sponsor for its annual Charlotte event.
Truist Financial Corporation, Quail Hollow Club and the Tour signed a seven-year agreement to become the next title sponsor.
It will no longer be the Wells Fargo Championship but the Truist Championship.
Quail Hollow will continue to be the host venue with the exception of 2025. It will remain one of the eight Signature Events on the PGA Tour’s schedule.
Next year’s tournament will be May 5-11 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course. Quail Hollow will have to skip a year because it will be the location of
