Peyton Manning roasts ‘brutal’ retirement at ‘SNL50’

Saturday Night Live honored its 50th season with a special event on Sunday night, featuring several musical performances, former cast members, special guests, and some of the best sketches from the show’s lengthy run.

Among those special guests? Former quarterback Peyton Manning.

Manning, who hosted Saturday Night Live back in 2007, was part of a Q&A in the special, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler answering questions from audience members. Manning was one of those audience members, and as you can see at the 8:10 mark of the below video, he asked whether longtime produce producer Lorne Michaels would be retiring now that Saturday Night Live has reached 50
