Patrick Mahomes took the blame for Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to Eagles

Facing reporters after coming out on the losing end of Super Bowl LIX, Patrick Mahomes put the blame on his own shoulders.

The Philadelphia Eagles defense pressured Mahomes early and often in Super Bowl LIX, sacking him six times and getting 11 quarterback hits on the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback. Mahomes finished Super Bowl LIX having completed 21-of-32 passes for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns, but he also threw a pair of interceptions in the first half.
