With the 2025 Scouting Combine behind us, the next big step in the NFL offseason is free agency.
Tuesday marks the next big deadline, as teams have until 4:00 p.m. Eastern to designate Franchise or Transition Tag players. That deadline comes ahead of the league’s official tampering period, which begins on March 10.

Update: The Tuesday deadline has come and gone, and only Trey Smith and Tee Higgins received the franchise tags from their current teams.
