Justin Thomas got off to an incredible start this week at the RBC Heritage as he fired a 10-under 61, tied for the course record at Harbour Town, to take the opening round lead. While he also held the lead following Friday’s action, Si Woo Kim jumped him on Saturday to head into Sunday as the outright leader. For what it’s worth Thomas trails Kim (-15) by a stroke.
Thomas can still become the first player on the PGA Tour to win this season after leading the opening round, but as noted he has some work cut out for him. That is a strange thing to be true
