Alexander Hamilton. His name is Alexander Hamilton. And there’s a million things he hasn’t done… but soon he’ll be able to check “appearing on the Seattle stage” off that list. After being the talk of the theater (and general pop culture) world for over a year, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s groundbreaking hip-hop musical Hamilton will come to the Paramount Theatre sometime during the 2017–18 Broadway at the Paramount season.
The show tells the dramatic life story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton with innovate genre-bending songs based around Miranda’s heady rapping style. Need proof that the music stands on its own? The original cast recording won a Grammy earlier this year and made the top 10 albums of 2015 lists for both Rolling Stone and Billboard.
Since it’s sure to be the hottest ticket of the year, the only way to guarantee a seat for the first national tour of Hamilton is to purchase a Broadway at the Paramount season subscription[1]. Subscribers that renew for 2017–18 will have access to purchase Hamilton tickets before the general public. Season subscriptions cost $189–$594. Single tickets while be sold at a later date (trust us, we’ll let you know when that’s announced).
