One of the longest-held individual records in the NFL could fall in the next two weeks as Saquon Barkley needs 268 yards to break Erick Dickerson’s single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards — which has held since 1984.
Dickerson doesn’t think his mark is going to fall this season, telling the Los Angeles Times:
“I don’t think he’ll break it, but if he breaks it, he breaks it. Do I want him to break it? Absolutely not. I don’t pull no punches on that. But I’m not whining about it.”
