Angry that he wasn’t allowed access to a fraternity party on Feb. 22, Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu decided to take drastic measures[1] to work his way into what must have been the greatest party to ever hit one of the great party schools in America:
First he tried to push his way into the party, unsuccessfully. A security guard at the door – must be one heck of a party to have a velvet rope – said that Kafovalu was not on the list (again, must have been a great party) and was not allowed to enter.

Then, according to the (Boulder, Colo.) Daily Camera, Kafovalu tried to reason with the security guard. “Don’t [expletive] do this [expletive], I’ll [expletive] kill you,” Kafovalu said, according to the police report. How bad did Kafovalu want to get into this party?
Kafovalu’s friends then intervened, pushing the sophomore-to-be back away from the guard… and into a brick wall, part of which Kafovalu (250 pounds when he arrived on campus) knocked over. The damage to the wall will cost the fraternity $300, according to the report.

And so the police were called, as you might expect, and Kafovalu was asked to take a breathalyzer test, as you might expect. He blew a .120, which is above the the legal limit.
Kafovalu was issued a summons on charges of threatening bodily injury, trespassing, consumption of alcohol by a minor and use of fighting words, writes Mitchell Byars. He used fighting words.
Where does this leave his standing with the team? After posting a solid freshman season, Kafovalu will be disciplined after team officials gather more information about the incident, a school spokesman told the Daily Camera.
