Day 1 of the BMW PGA Championship saw some eventful golf, especially from Rory McIlroy. He shot a 5-under 67 to sit two shots off the leader.
Matthew Baldwin shot a 9-under 63 to lead after 18 holes. There are 11 at 5-under alongside McIlroy, so plenty of guys are lurking on the leaderboard.
Among those with the Northern Irishman are Shane Lowry, Matteo Manassero and Billy Horschel.
Thomas Detry and Niklas Norgaard shot a 6-under 66 to separate themselves.
The leaderboard has so many big names towards the top after 18 holes, but Day 2 could present another challenge. The wind is supposed to be 10-20
