PULLMAN, Wash. — In a marathon all-day budget discussion, Washington State University’s Board of Regents and school leaders laid out the financial challenges from what university president Kirk Schulz calls the chaos in Washington D.C.
Washington State University is looking ahead to its 2026 budget but huge chunks of that horizon are hazy.
“I want you to know we’re not just sitting here waiting for a solution to present itself,” Schulz told the board Monday.
