LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A wrong-way driver is in custody after causing a fatal collision on northbound Interstate 5 in Lakewood early Friday morning.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says the driver, a teen boy, hit another vehicle head-on while driving south on NB I-5, killing the driver of the vehicle that was hit. The causing driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular homicide, WSP’s John Dattilo said on social media. The victim in the crash was female, but was not identified further by WSP.
