‘Worst case I’ve witnessed:’ Suspect accused of using nail gun on missing elderly woman, beating her to death

Investigators said Marcia Norman was beaten and injured with a nail gun for hours before she died.

TENINO, Wash. — A missing elderly woman from Tenino was bound with Velcro straps and beaten to death before her remains were found under a shed in Olympia, court documents revealed Monday. 

Jeffrey Zizz was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping and unlawful disposal of human remains, related to the death of Marcia Norman, 82, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO). He faced a judge Monday for the first time.
