A woman was shot and killed in an early-morning drive-by shooting in Renton.
RENTON, Wash. — One person was killed after a drive-by shooting in Renton, according to the Renton Police Department (RPD).
Just after 2 a.m. on Monday, RPD received reports of a drive-by shooting on the 600 block of Shelton Avenue Northeast.
Police said a woman was injured in the shooting. She was being driven to the hospital by another person when the driver stopped at the 200 block of Sunset Boulevard to flag down officers passing by for help.
Police attempted life-saving measures, but the woman died of her injuries.
