SEATTLE — A woman is in critical condition after being rescued from a house fire in Seattle early Friday morning.
Crews first responded to a fire at the intersection of North 143rd Street and Fremont Avenue North just after 5:30 a.m. Friday.
Just after 6 a.m., firefighters rescued one occupant from the building. The Seattle Fire Department later said it was a 55-year-old woman who was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
