No suspects have been identified in the shooting, according to police.
SEATTLE — Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was shot and killed in West Seattle Tuesday afternoon.
The Seattle Police Department said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officers were called just after 1 p.m. to investigate a shooting in the 4400 block of Southwest Hudson Street.
A spokesperson for the Seattle Fire Department said emergency crews tried life-saving measures on a 57-year-old woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the woman’s death as a homicide.
