Woman accused of killing husband in Parkland before Thanksgiving

The 52-year-old woman was covered in blood when she flagged down neighbors on the night before Thanksgiving.

PARKLAND, Wash. — A Pierce County woman is accused of stabbing her husband in the back, killing him, the night before Thanksgiving, according to charging documents.

Youngmi Shin, 52, was charged on Dec. 2 with one count of second-degree murder.

On Nov. 27, just hours before the Thanksgiving holiday, deputies responded to the 10200 block of Ainsworth Avenue South after a person reported a woman covered in blood had flagged them down.
