The lunar eclipse should be visible from Washington state if the weather cooperates.
SEATTLE — A lunar eclipse will be visible across most of North America later this week.
The celestial event should be visible in Washington state, weather permitting.
According to NASA, the lunar eclipse will occur on Thursday night into Friday morning. During this time, the moon will pass into Earth’s shadow, causing it to turn red-orange, a phenomenon known as a “Blood Moon.”
