SEATTLE — Stargazers, look up! Through late January, four planets will be visible to the naked eye in our evening sky – all at once! And we have a good chance to see them here in western Washington.
NASA says, shortly after sunset you can find Venus and Saturn in the southwestern sky, Jupiter overhead, and Mars in the eastern sky.
Jan. 17 and 18, Venus and Saturn will only be about 2 degrees (just a few finger-widths) apart in the sky as their orbits appear to pass closely to each other, even though, in reality they are 800 million miles away.
