Unionized Starbucks workers are staging a days-long protest during the company’s peak holiday season over a failure to come to a contract agreement.
SEATTLE — Starbucks employees in three major cities, Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago, will begin a series of escalating strikes that are expected to roll into the Christmas holiday over the coffee giant’s failure to reach a contract agreement and resolve outstanding disputes with unionized stores.
