Western Washington relators brace for post-tariff price spike

SEATTLE — In the two days since President Donald Trump instated 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, the real estate community in western Washington have furiously been deliberating: will home prices soar?

“It could be passed on to the consumer and raise the cost of the home prices, that are already high,” said Dickerson, who is a senior broker at Tanya Mock Real Estate at Compass.
