LYNNWOOD, Wash — While making the rounds on Wednesday to her Meals on Wheels clients, Bonnie Peters was met by folks fearing she’d be delivering bad news.
“One client opened the door and was surprised I was there,” said Peters. “He didn’t know if I would be showing up. It gave me chills.”
Meals on Wheels is one of myriad programs now under scrutiny by the White House to determine if their funding will be cut because their missions don’t fit with the Trump agenda.
