SEATTLE — The parents of a 12-year-old girl who was struck and killed by an unattended vehicle outside Washington Middle School last month are demanding answers and accountability, saying they will not stop until they get justice for their daughter.
Arsema Barekew was standing outside the school on March 6 when police say an unattended SUV rolled downhill and hit her. The sixth-grader died at the scene, which remains under investigation by the Seattle Police Department.
