OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington’s Gov.-elect Bob Ferguson will be officially sworn into office Wednesday as the state braces in the face of a significant budget gap and changing federal leadership.
Ferguson and other statewide elected officials will be sworn in during a joint session of the state Legislature starting at 11:30 a.m. Ferguson is then expected to give his inaugural address.
