Washington State Parks will host hikes, snowshoe excursions, trail rides, polar plunges and scavenger hunts to ring in the new year.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington State Parks invites people to celebrate the new year with its annual “First Day Hikes” event on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
More than 30 state parks will host staff-led and self-guided hikes, snowshoe excursions, trail rides, polar plunges, scavenger hunts and more to ring in the new year.
