OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington state and United States flags will be raised to full-staff Monday, Jan. 20, before being lowered back to half-staff in honor of former President Jimmy Carter.
Gov. Bob Ferguson directed all state agencies to raise the flags to full-staff on Jan. 20 in honor of Inauguration Day.
Flags will return to half-staff at sunrise on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and will remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
