Warm weather and sunshine for Labor Day weekend in western Washington

Temperatures are rising and the skies are clearing just in time for Labor Day weekend.

SEATTLE — A new weather system is bringing above-average temperatures to western Washington just in time for Labor Day weekend. 

A ridge of high pressure is building over the region, bringing the hottest temperatures Friday through Sunday, according to the KING 5 Weather Team.
