Victim of deadly Capitol Hill shooting was likely not the intended target, Seattle police say

Video shows there was no previous interaction between the victim and the shooter.

SEATTLE — A man who was killed in a shooting in Capitol Hill was likely not the suspect’s intended target, Seattle police said Wednesday. 

The shooting took place early Tuesday morning, shortly before 3 a.m., near the intersection of Broadway and East Pike Street.
