One of Seattle’s most famed grunge bands is back in the limelight and at the center of a contentious legal battle.
Vicky Cornell, the wife of late Soundgarden vocalist and frontman Chris Cornell, filed a lawsuit last week in the U.S. District Court Western District of Washington against the remaining members of the popular Seattle rock band.
According to Variety, the lawsuit claims that Cornell was offered a “ludicrously low” buyout of $300,000 for her share in the band’s masters and publishing royalties.
