SEATTLE — A University of Washington (UW) student says he has reached an agreement with the school after facing disciplinary action over a website he created to streamline the course enrollment process for his peers.
JD Kaim is a computer science major at UW and developed HuskySwap as part of a software engineering class. The website allowed students to anonymously list classes they wished to drop and those they wanted to join, aiming to improve what Kaim described as an imperfect registration system.
