TACOMA, Wash. — A family of a University of Washington lab technician is fighting to get her out of ICE custody after being arrested at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in February.
Lewelyn Dixon is a green card holder, meaning she is a legal permanent resident of the United States, yet she remains in the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma, awaiting her next hearing.
Dixon’s trip to the Philippines was supposed to be routine trip back home.
