TACOMA, Wash. — A truck carrying tens of thousands of pounds of hay has rolled on Interstate 5 northbound in Tacoma, causing congestion for drivers traveling through the area Wednesday morning.
The rolled semi-truck caused a “long-term” issue near state Route 16, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT.) The scene was cleared just before 10 a.m.
The semi-truck was carrying 94,000 pounds of hay when it rolled, according to WSDOT. It took multiple industrial-sized tow trucks to get the semi-truck right-side up again.
