Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority said a semi-truck trailer caught fire on Tuesday afternoon.
SEATAC, Wash. — A portion of southbound Interstate 5 in Seattle was blocked as crews extinguished a commercial vehicle on fire Tuesday afternoon.
Heavy smoke could be seen on the freeway near South 200th Street in SeaTac. Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority said a semi-truck trailer was on fire when crews arrived.
No one was injured. All lanes have reopened.
This incident further blocked traffic delayed by an earlier shooting on southbound I-5 near Boeing Access Road, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
