SEATTLE — The wealthiest ZIP code in the United States outside of the state of California is just across the water from Seattle, according to a new report.
The Medina area, ZIP code 98039, is the seventh-most expensive housing market in the country, behind six California markets, according to The Business Journals’ Wealthy 1000 broken down by median home values. Eight of the 10 most expensive ZIP codes are in the Golden State, with Medina and New York’s Water Mill area representing the other two.
