Both teams in Sunday’s game will have connections to the state of Washington.
SEATTLE — Super Bowl LIX on Sunday will not feature the Seattle Seahawks, but both teams have players or coaches who have ties to Washington state.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which saw the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce-led Chiefs win 38-35 in February 2023.
