MERCER ISLAND, Wash. — Two teen boys who vandalized a Mercer Island middle school with antisemitic and vulgar images will undertake a court-based diversion program, prosecutors said Monday.
On the night of Jan. 1, the two 16-year-olds trespassed onto the campus of Islander Middle School and “defaced exterior windows and walls with antisemitic and racist symbols and phrases,” according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO).
