LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A teen who hit and killed a college student in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 5 in January has been sentenced.
The 17-year-old driver pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and was sentenced April 8 to 15 to 36 weeks in juvenile rehabilitation with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families. The teen received credit for 74 days served.
KING 5 is not naming the teen, because he was not charged as an adult.
