Teen in critical condition at hospital after sister drives vehicle into lake in suspected DUI

The teen sister of the driver is “on life support” at the hospital, according to probable cause documents.

SEATTLE — A woman is in custody after allegedly smoking marijuana before her car rolled into Lake Washington over the weekend. The woman’s teen sister, a passenger in the car, is “on life support” in the hospital, police said.

Police responded to the Rainier Beach boat ramp just after 5:45 p.m. Saturday evening after reports of a vehicle going into the water.
