PARIS, France — Nearly a century after the “Boys in the Boat” won a gold medal for the U.S. in Berlin, another American team full of former University of Washington Huskies won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On Saturday, the team placed third with a time of 5:25.28, placing them on the podium for bronze. Great Britain finished first with a time of 5:22.88 seconds with the Netherlands close behind at 5:23.92.
